Fully interactive environments include a competitive AI, unpredictable cross traffic, reactive pedestrians, gravity-defying jumps, smashable street-side objects, and relentless cops. The realistic physics model is tuned for a fun and exciting racing experience. You can even listen to licensed music on the new Test Drive radio. Test Drive is for one or two players.

The TEST DRIVE series has a long and storied history, going all the way back to the days of the Commodore 64. And now the vaunted series has made its way to the PlayStation 2 with the simply titled TEST DRIVE. The racing is fast and furious here, and you’ll be speeding through four major cities as you try to take the checkered flag.
There are more than 20 high-powered rides to choose from including the Dodge Viper GTS, Jaguar XK-R, Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, Lotus Esprit V8, Nissan Skyline, Ford Mustang, and even a Dodge Charger that will feature realistic driving physics specific to each car.
In addition to trying to beat the competition to the finish line, you’ll also have to be on the lookout for traffic, pedestrians, and more importantly the police. This element is a staple of the TEST DRIVE series that adds even more of a challenge to the gameplay. So slip on your driving gloves, strap on your seatbelt, and get ready for the intense street racing action of TEST DRIVE.
