To unlock the gear listed below, go to the main menu in NBA LIVE 2004. From the main menu, select My NBA LIVE -> NBA Codes, and hit the X button. Input the appropriate code to unlock the specific piece of gear in your game.

Once you've done that, go back to the main menu and select Team Management -> Roster Management -> Edit Player, and choose a player. Scroll down to the Gear option, find lower body apparel, and deck out your player with the new gear.
