Choose your team of three and leap into the high-kicking, combo-slamming fray of MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 for the Dreamcast. In what could very well be the ultimate collection of 2D fighters ever to grace a console, MVC2 will have you bashing buttons all night long in a frenzy of jam-packed combat goodness. In Single-Player or Two-Player Versus mode, you select three fighters and go head-to-head in fierce competition against your opponent’s team. Twenty-four characters are available to begin with, and a staggering 32 more can be unlocked through superior gameplay!
Switch from fighter to fighter at will, and if you time things correctly, you can pull off chained super combos that unleash hundreds of hits. You can choose from classic and all-new warriors like Cable, Jill Valentine, Sentinel, Iceman, Venom, Blackheart, Guile, Strider, and many, many more. A simple four-button control scheme will have you fighting and executing combos like an expert in no time. While the smoothly animated characters are 2D sprites, the backgrounds are colorful 3D scenes often full of movement. Jump, kick, slice and dice 'till you drop in the deep, fisticuff-flying fury of MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2.
