In the fantasy world of the game, the darkness of the Great War has passed and the lands of Gladius are peaceful once more. Now combat takes place only in the gladiator arenas, where schools from around the world compete for the title of Imperial Champions. You will follow the grand saga of two young heroes, Ursula and Valens, as they recruit and train a team of warriors and compete in the gladiator games. Battle with deadly weapons and powerful magic as you learn vital combat tactics while you enhance and customize your own characters. BATTLE MODE
Square Button = view character-related information
Triangle Button = see description of selected skill

X Button = initiate an attack, activate or accept an action
Square, Triangle, Circle or X Button = used during som swing meter attacks
Square or Triangle Button = used before initiating combat
Left Analog Stick = move battle cursor
Right Analog Stick = rotate and zoom camera
D-Pad = select a skill, scroll between status effects when viewing character-related information
L1 Button = view complete list of battle commands, cycle through innate skills, item statuses and status effects
L2 Button = view combat initiative stack, cycle through innate skills, item statuses and status effects
